I am so excited that you are interested in choosing me to document your family! I believe in real moments and in precious preserved memories. I love the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together.

I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.

I love the art of film photography, and how the limited amount of images on a roll of film forces us to slow down, observe the beauty a moment, and the people around us. My digital images are inspired by the look of film as well, and I decide what medium is best for any given situation. No matter the setting, medium, or family dynamic, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.

After photographing hundreds of portrait sessions over the past few years, I've found that sometimes it's okay not to be the perfect fit for every family. That’s why this process begins with a conversation to learn what you're looking for.

We'll talk about your vision for the family session, what kind of moments you want to highlight, and what you might want to use the photographs for once the session is all done!

Let's Connect

Once your date is reserved, we'll connect to start chatting about possible locations for your session. I generally recommend choosing one location and if it's a place you haven't been before, it might be helpful to visit at the time of day during which our session will take place.

That way you have an idea of the light, crowds, closing time, etc! If you're not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, just let me know because I would be happy to recommend a few locations based on your aesthetic!

About a day before your session, we'll connect to make sure the weather still looks like it's going to cooperate.

We'll exchange numbers if we haven't already, and finalize our meeting location. Please plan for your session to take about 90 minutes from start to finish.

All images from my sessions are typically delivered within about three weeks of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media.

Your gallery will remain active for at least one year.

Sarandon & Family

It was a dream experience working with Jenny. She was so patient with our little one, and I couldn't have imagined more priceless images to preserve our family memories with. I can't wait to show these to my daughter when she's older some day. I'm so happy knowing I'll have these memories for the rest of her life.

I'll have these memories for the rest of her life.

Perfect for those who value legacy. These heirloom albums are a great way to house a large number of images in a beautiful way. Leave them on display as coffee table books or protect them with a legacy box.

Framed and matted prints are the perfect way to fill your walls with memories. With a variety of frames to choose from, I’ll help you select the perfect image pairings for your space.

Prints & Wall Art

Easy to hang and easy to change out. Canvases are one of my favorite ways to decorate a space. They also work great on little easels placed around the home.

Fine art prints

I'm a big believer that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. With a gazillion phone pictures floating around your phone and your social media uploads, it's probably not often that you sit down with the whole family and look through them together.

Images that you can physically hold in your hand will always be the best way to remember those precious moments we captured. Imagine, in ten years... you grab an album off the shelf, and gather on the couch with your family. Pointing at each page in amazement of how much the little ones have grown, and smiling together, thinking of how joyous that time in your lives was.

Tiny USBs get misplaced, and even the online galleries I deliver will eventually fade away. Printing your images or ordering an album is the best way to preserve those memories.

These high quality, professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents' wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on a coffee table.

THE PERFECT WAY TO PRESERVE YOUR MEMORIES

Handcrafted Albums

After I delivery your gallery, I'll work with you to design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.

Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions).

With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.

Linen: $650 for Linen
Leather: $850
Additional 2-page Spread: $50

Handcrafted albums are available a la carte or as part of your family collection.

Yes, you are welcome to print the images on your own. If you do this, I recommend making sure that the printer does not color correct the images (many automatically do this.) I also recommend looking for a high quality printer. While 10 cent prints sound great in theory, the cheaper printing quality often won’t do your images justice. Paper quality, color correction and a handful of other factors play a big role in the way your prints turn out. This is one of the reasons why I LOVE offering prints to our clients.

I guarantee that your images will remain in an online gallery for at least a year. While your galleries may stay up longer than that, I cannot guarantee it. Once your galleries have been delivered, I highly recommend downloading any high resolution images that you have purchased and backing them up to several devices.

How long will I have access to the images?

While turnaround times can vary by season, I aim to deliver your proofing gallery of images within three weeks of your session.

Questions

You are absolutely welcome to share images on social media. To ensure that my work is properly represented, I just ask that you refrain from making any edits. I also appreciate image credits and tags as they help my business continue to grow.

In general, the creators of images own the intellectual property rights to the images. However, with the purchase of a collection comes a release to use, print and share your images. The only thing you won’t be able to do is sell your image as a stock photo or use it in a commercial setting.

A:

Do I own the rights to the images?

q:

We typically plan about 60-90 minutes for sessions. While we likely don’t need to be shooting this entire time, this does give us the flexibility for location changes and time to get warmed up in front of the camera.

A:

How long should we plan for the session to take?

q:

I do very light retouching on all of our images. This means that if there are any glaring objects that should be removed (such as a bump from the tumble your toddler took that morning,) I'll remove it. Larger edits (such as removing tan lines, fixing bra straps) require more time and would require me to add additional editing hours to your collection.
